Ever since I witnessed my boss signing documents with his fancy fountain pen,
I’ve also dreamt about possessing one of my own.
I always wondered why I was attracted to the fountain pen in particular,
but I found my answer when I read a line from a BBC article.
“A fountain pen is not an ostentatious representation of a decision-making moment,
but a serious and professional attitude towards business.”
If this is what a fountain pen truly indicates…
shouldn’t I introduce a special one that is carefully chosen? :)
Though this Marbled Attaché fountain pen is acrylic,
intricate and original marble patterns are present at each angle,
marking its aesthetic and practical elements.
Its size corresponds to that of a hand,
but if you secure the lid on the back, the pen becomes longer and thus easier to write with.
Its clip also makes the pen easy to clasp onto your notebook or pocket
The stainless steel F-shaped tip (Fine nib), plated with 24k, has delicate patterns engraved onto it,
enhancing its elegant feature.
The ink is a cartridge-type, making it incredibly convenient in terms of its portability.
(European Standard Short Ink Cartridge/1 Blue Base Included)
To install the ink cartridge,
Open the lid and turn the pen segment (tip and grip) and the body segment
in opposite directions to disassemble the instrument
Then make sure the narrow side of the ink cartridge is facing the tip of the pen
and press it in until you hear the ‘pop’ sound.
The most flustering moment for those unfamiliar with the fountain pen
is when the ink hardens and doesn’t come out after the pen wasn’t used for a while.
When this happens,
dipping the pen tip in warm water for a moment will liquefy the ink again for comfortable use.
(Of course, it's best to use it often so the ink doesn't dry up in the first place!)
There are three colors, navy, white, and green,
